"Big Bertha"

Here is the latest of my belly.  As Kenton was taking the pictures, he called me big bertha- thanks sweetheart! :)  As you can see baby is growing a lot everyday.  We have roughly 8 more weeks left!  Wow, baby will be here before I know it.

Cornett Baby Update

Todays appointment went very well.  We are usually in the ultrasound room for about a half an hour or so trying to get good measurements, but baby was being very cooperative today and it only took about 10 minutes!  Everything looks really really good.  Baby measures in the 65-percentile, and weighing in at 4lbs 7oz.  It's crazy to think that baby is double the weight of Kenton when he was born.  Everything looks great!  Heartbeat is strong and steady.  Baby has a big round belly, and cute little legs.  We tried to get a good side profile picture, but the way baby was positioned, we weren't very successful.  We did get a cute picture of babys nose, lip, and chin... so cute!  We even got to see baby yawn... so sweet!!  Baby has been positioned head down throughout my entire pregnancy, we are hoping it stays that way! 

My heartburn is almost unbearable, especially at night, when I'm trying to sleep.  I'm on my second bottle of tums, and my doctor said I could take mylanta or pepcid ac.  If those don't help I can call her and get a prescription.  We'll see how it goes! 

I'm doing pretty well with my weight gain so far.  I am right on track!  I am a little nervous about getting back to my normal weight, but it's nothing to worry about.  Kenton took me out to breakfast this morning after our appointment to one of our favorite spots in downtown Boise called La Vie En Rose, which means "The Sweet Life" :) 

Most people I've talked to have their bets going to see what this baby is going to be.  I think we are going to start a pool soon.  I have my instincts, but I'm keeping them to myself :)  I am looking forward to seeing all my family in the Tri Cities next weekend!  It will be a blast!!  I am also excited for my mom and dad to come home from England soon!  My mom will be here on March 16 and is staying till the end of April.  My dad will be home sometime after the baby is born.  I can't wait!

Everything is coming along...

With just a few weeks away, the baby's room is coming along.  I think it is pretty neutral, could go for a baby boy or baby girl.  Before we found out we were pregnant, we decided to paint a couple of the bedrooms upstairs in our house.  I made sure we painted them with neutral colors, because I wanted to use one of them rooms as a baby nursery for when we had kids!  The walls in the nursery are a "seafoam green," it kind of looks bluish green, but it is a very pretty color.  Our farm animal/barn theme goes along really well with the wall color.  Here are some recent pictures of our new rocker, our crib with the bedding, and our barnyard dresser that we painted :)

We go back to the doctor tomorrow for another ultrasound and checkup!  Hopefully my doctor can give me something for this horrible heart burn!  Love you all!
